RIDE FOR THE BRAND BARREL RACE SERIES RESULTS
It was recently brought to our attention that the point process we were using was not the way NBHA keeps running totals. We looked into it and discovered that we were indeed incorrect. The points are kept with the rider HOWEVER you can ONLY receive points on ONE ride in each division (IE: Mary Jones rides both Blaze and Lightning and wins 1st and 2nd in 1D - She can only receive points on the BEST time, not on both times) We have had to recalculate our point standings. We also want to make it very clear that we are NOT keeping a percentage of the $1000 added money. The entire $1000 is added to each race, NO MATTER HOW FEW PEOPLE ARE AT THE RACE!!! The 4D Jackpot is 75% of the pre-entry fee ($20 - like NBHA) plus the $1000 added. I'm not sure where the rumors started - that we were keeping a % of the added cash. It's not true. IN CASE OF A TIE AT THE END OF THE SEASON: The rider with the lowest time AT THE FINALS (Sept. 30th) will be the winner in that division
